530 watts is quite a bit. That doesn't mean you use all of that power. If you did, your neighbors would surely complain. Most people don't use anywhere near the full power of their amplifiers. It would probably be painful.

If you mean power handling yes that is quite a bit of power to put through. Even low efficiency speakers would be at damaging sound levels.

not really... my 5 spkr surround sound in my room is 1200 and its not as loud as you would think
