I am putting on a slideshow at my wedding rehearsal dinner. The slide show will be from my laptop and we will use a projector attached to the laptop to project the show onto a large screen. I need help with the sound, since the laptop will not provide enough volume. Is there a way to hook up traditional stereo speakers to the laptop to provide more sound? Thanks!

Bigger speakers will not make the sound louder.
Your problem is that the laptop has not enough power to drive regular speakers. You need some sound amplification.

If the place has an audio system, such as a microphone, then put the mike next to the laptop's speakers.
