I want to know if an HD antenna will work with my digital tv? I do not have cable, and would like to receive ABC(local), and I know the locals here are all broadcast in HD as well. Will I get better reception with the HD antenna than with the standard one I have now?

I was wondering if anyone could provide suggestions on different types of digital voice recorders that I could use to tape college lectures, since they are huge classes. I need a recorder that is slim, compact, easy to use, and can transfer files to my pc. Which ones do you think would be the "best" and at a affordable cost? Thank you.

Ok tax them, make them more expensive compared to flurescents, but to ban them entirely? What about vacuum tubes, or christmas tree lights, ornamental bulbs and car lights. Will I get arrested for passing a current through a wire so it glows? What happens to manufacturers of incandescent light bulbs, do they just have to go out of business.

It says:

"The subwoofer is not magnetically shielded and should not be placed near a video display."

What does it mean, and what would happen if it was. The only thing nearby is my laptop computer, should I worry about it.

I have a samsung dvd player that has an extra hdmi input which i think is cool. They included that mostly for hd reciever boxes. My 57 hdtv hitachi only has one hdmi port which makes the samsung a great fit. Since my hdmi port is taken up by the sound system, i am going to connect my dish network hd box through my dvd player's hdmi input. I haven't connected the sound system yet, but when i do, will i notice any reduction in picture quality when connecting my hd box through the dvd player. If it does will it be barley noticable or very noticable? My mainly watch hbo show which are broadcasted in 1080i. My tv is also 1080i

I bought these earphones about 2 months ago and they were working fine, stereo sound, perfect. But a few days ago for some reason the right one no longer gives sound and the left one does. What is the problem? Any way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

What do I have to adjust to balance the sound? I just got my new Randall amplifier, after finding out it was my borken cord, and not my old amp that was the problem. My dad saudered the ground wire inside the output end of the cord, but to my dismay the new amp lets out a deafening squeal over my guitar. What could be the problem?

I recieved a free Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX from some promotion thing. I already have a webcam, so I want to retrieve money for it. Walmart sells the exact same product. Is there anyway that I can return it to them and recieve store credit without a receit? Or when they scan it, will it show up as not from their store?

There is a longer delay in TV broadcasts than radio. Therefore, if you'd like to listen to your favorite baseball announcer with the TV sound muted, you will hear the results of each play before you see the results. It would be nice to sync the two broadcasts for the best experience.
