I recieved a free Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX from some promotion thing. I already have a webcam, so I want to retrieve money for it. Walmart sells the exact same product. Is there anyway that I can return it to them and recieve store credit without a receit? Or when they scan it, will it show up as not from their store?

So I went to Walmart, and they don't carry it there, only online. So I went to Target, and they had it! Yeah well, I tried returning it and everything went okay, except that without a receit, I can only exchange it for something of equal or lesser value in the ELECTRONICS department. I don't want another electronic, I'm obviously trying to get rid of this one. Can anyone think of a good loop whole?

i have done this before and it has worked at walmart. all you have to say is my grand mom (or whoever) bought this for me for my birthday and i already have one but i don't want to hurt her feeling and tell her that so im just returning it. they wont give you cash for it but they will give you store credit. i don't think any store will give you cash if you don't have a receipt.

Go to the store and see if the sku # is the same as the one on the box that you have. If it is then you can take it to the store and get store credit for it. You don't have to explain your reason for returning it, all they wanna know is if it's damaged. If you feel the need to give some sort of explanation, just say that it wasn't what you needed.
