I bought these earphones about 2 months ago and they were working fine, stereo sound, perfect. But a few days ago for some reason the right one no longer gives sound and the left one does. What is the problem? Any way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

No, it probably isn't "shorted out".

It is much more likely to be open circuit, i.e. one or both of the wires to the right side are broken. It's a common problem.

If you have a friend who is dexterous and who can solder he or she may be able to repair it.

A repair shop would charge more than the 'phones are worth.

It shorted out, theres usually no way to fix it.
More than likely, you'll have to buy a new pair.
