What does it mean when speakers start to beep and buzz and such?

My ocmputer speakers are doing this...as well as my IHome.

could be lots of different stuff like your refrigerator turning itself on or some kind of grounding problem... I assume you mean it beeps and buzzes when there's no other sound being played. if it beeps and buzzes while listening to music it could be something else like a driver or soundcard related problem...
