I have bought a DVD recorder that lets you copy video to dvd. Tesco advised that Maxell 1-16x speed, single sided, DVD-R is suitable for my machine. However, on the discs, there is a caution that some drives may not support this speed. Is this referring to computer drives, and not the DVD player?
In the manual, It suggests Maxell DVD-R but says nothing about speed. I am confused. Also, what is the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R?

Purchased a towerstat rf for worcester 28i. Instructions for boiler only show 3 possible wiring terminals which are Lr Ls Ns, yet instructions for stat show four wires which are N, L, SL(on), SL(off). Any ideas.

I live in India and planning to buy a Washing Machine of 6.5 Kg. What was the killer application that every household would agree created a demand for the new IBM PC? By far it was the main application responsible for creating a demand for the PC for the home market. Hint it held a 65% ownership of the DOS market for its type of software by 1992, and made its founder nearly a billion dollars by the early 1990’s. Does anyone know? Without this residential demand for the PC caused by this application there may have never been an Internet Revolution for the priviate individual. Kind of blows your mind when you figure this out.

I have a bar with four plasma tv's. Each has it's own direct tv HD box. These are all located in a back room. I wanted to connect a dvd player that could send the same signal to all four tv's through the direct tv player. There are two coaxial inputs on the back of the direct tv box. Only one is being used by the dish on each box. I bought a box to change the output of the dvd from video to coax and then split the coax four ways and connected it to each direct tv box.
Now, I can't tune in the dvd player on any of the tv's. I don't know how to get direct tv to switch to this input.
Any help out there??

i downloaded DVD decrypter & everytime I click on it,the aol pops up & I can't get rid of it.why is this doing this?I also have Nero in which I try to put one movie to another disk.a message comes up & says,"There is not enough space to burn this compilation onto this disc"why am I getting this message?I'm using the right,appropiatedisk.
