Shut off the power. Cut a potato in half. Stick one of the cut edges onto the protruding glass edges of the lightbulb. Turn it counter clockwise and keep turning till the bulb is out of its socket.

First, unplug the lamp / turn off the light. If you can't, then use rubber dish gloves (or turn off the breaker in the fuse box). A potato or a piece of fruit like an apple or pear can also be used by cutting it in half and sticking the broken pieces into it and just unscrewing from there.
