I went to Walmart looking for Polaroid film, and they didn't sell it anymore! Can I still buy Polaroid film anywhere?

If you have a walgreens around, try that.
Polaroid is not making much money on film these days due to digital.
The cost of the film is quite high.
If you were to purchase a digital camera and a portable printer and print your pictures for cheaper.
granted there is a higher initial investment but
digital camera and film is about $150 for both on sale add and extra $25.00 for paper and ink and get $100 prints!
polaroid camera and 10 instant film will cost you about $70.00.
now think of all the money that you will spend trying to get $80 pictures on instant film.
Ignore the fact that the digital cameras are not as bulky as the polaroid and you will see why most people have made the switch.
YOU SHOULD TOO!
I promise you will love the new digital cameras and after your first print you will throw rocks at the polaroid.
p.s. Polaroid has a new portable printer and the pictures are GREAT!

honey ... where have you been?? Please do not think that I am being rude I am just going to tell you what a friend should have told you a long time ago. This is a good time for you to ask this question especially since this is the year of the camera. It is time to start thinking about investing in a new camera. Digital.. You will be very happy that u did. Put up that Polaroid camera in the attic or somewhere out of the way.. They are almost considered antique now. I know that this will probably not come easy to you since you still have it after all this time, but you can come with us into the digital age. Welcome and GoodLuck

It's old technology, but surprisingly enough a lot of drug stores like Rite Aid or CVS carry it. You can also check Ritz Camera or Wolf Camera. Specialty shops usually cary that type of stuff

Digital cameras were a death sentence to Polaroid (and a serious blow to conventional film).

All things in time do end.... Digital is taking over. Your best bet is to find a good digital cam to take its place and not have to worry about finding film. I would suggest a mini dv camcorder that can take stills as well, it essentially two cameras in one. :) Roll with the times..not against them...its more fun;)

Wel they are still selling the polariod camera, so just shop around. Most stores are trying to make that type of camera and film obsolete but some stores will continue it. Just look around.

It is outdated, over-priced technology. It's best that they don't sell that junk anymore. If you still insist on using that out-dated junk...check online, it's out there.
