I have a Texas Ranger Base TR696F-SSB with a built in frequency
counter.My frequency is out of line and can not clarifier to line it
up.Will there be a problem lining this up?

Check the frequency of several channels. A couple of low channels, a couple of mid channels and then a couple of higher channels. Are they all out of line? If only 1 or 2 are off a little bit there is no problem. The voltage controlled oscillator isn't exactly on for all the frequencies, but should be within a certain tolerance. If they are all out of whack, the radio should be taken in for alignment or repair. This is not something that you can do at home. You need test equipment that you know is right.
