a) i'd like to get a solar panel to make this thing i saw in popular science, it was a bag that had a solar panel in the side (you just attach it with grommets into a clear vinyl pocket you make. its for charging elecronics and stuff) and i was wondering what kind i should look at, do they come flexible? can i get them on ebay? what kind of wattage should i look for (btw it also had a little voltage regulator and stuff to make a little usb in your bag) so any info on that!
b) i was thinking about like putting solar panels on my roof, where can i look into that, is that a good choice, has anyone done it, how did it work out? thank you, just curious

It needs to be portable and not too chunky, not use up batteries too quickly (perhaps take 4 AA batteries), have a pause and memory capability. A built in or robust aeriel would be good (i.e not the telescopic chrome type that can break). available like JWIN , Memorex, GPX all have a lot of probelms, thus that's why they're cheap. I need a diamond stylus too, not a cheap crappo thing. Also CD player, dual cassette, am fm radio.

ANY ideas, short of components again, which I used to have?

And if components are the way to go, what do you suggerst"

I really want very reliable and good quality, with great sound and not too soft, like those 20- 30 watt units.

Is there one that you can set to only go off for a particular alert. For example, if I wanted it to sound an alert for a tornado warning only. I've known people who have had them here in Texas that can't use them because tornado watches and severe thunderstorm watches/warnings are so common that the thing would drive them crazy sounding an alarm. I want one that is not going to wake me up during the night every time it might thunder & lightning or come a heavy rain.

The past two days I'll go into the Comcast on Demand channel. The talking heads/ads will appear in the upper left hand corner, but their directory/content list is missing!

A lot of Pay Per View charges have been appearing on my statement lately that are not mine. But the cable company says that with a digital box, it's impossible for anyone to order Pay Per View illegally on my bill. Is this true? If so, it means someone is making a mistake at the cable company.

I have the DishNetwork High Definition package and have found the broadcast information for about 12 of the 30+ channels (ie: HBO-HD=1080i, Fox=720p, ESPN-HD=720p). Is there a site where I can find the broadcast information for all channels that are High Definition broadcast? And, should I be watching the channel/program in the format that it is broadcast in (720p or 1080i)?
