I've read that lithium ion batteries should not be fully discharged between recharge cycles. So what is the best recharge cycle to get the most life from lithium ion batteries? Should they be recharged as often as possible, or should they be drained considerably before being recharged?

This includes all sorts of lithium ion batteries in today's consumer electronics: laptops, cell phones, mp3 players etc. Note: this discussion has nothing to do with memory effects.

My electric power company is a real rip off, and I am tired of paying the bills. What is the most cost effective way to generate my own power? I don't have any high loads other than a microwave for a couple of minutes. It's just a small studio apartment.

I've been using "sound recorder" that came with windows 2000 and the thing is driving me nuts. I am trying to study for a test, and the thing can not record more than about 30 seconds. In addition, it is now losing my recordings. I just lost like recordings in a row. I looked for a freeware recorder, but could not find.

My JBL PB12 sub amp crapped out. I've heard they are known as a POS. JBL didn't respond to my questions, so I guess I need to replace the amp plate. Anybody know what will fit, and where I can get one? Thanks very much.

I saw an item that was supposed to reduce electricity bills. The item is an electronic gadget that plugged directly into a socket in the house. From what i gathered it reduced the reading on the clampmeter (reading flow of electric instrument).. when plugged into a socket and vice versa when unplugged ...is this possible? and it is legal. My initial thoughts were, 'no way'..

I've been curious about what this sound is since I was a child. I am not quite sure what I am hearing (but I am guessing EFI), but I hear a type of sound when a TV is, and yes, it can be on mute or just displaying a blank screen (more so with the old school CRT tvs, most plasmas, and some LCD TVs), the same with computer monitors (mainly CRT but some LCDs), and even some other electronics.

What is the sound I am hearing? Keep in mind all the devices have to be on for me to hear it.

The funny thing I am actually unable to use certain air fresheners, because they emit the same sound expect in such a high pitch it drives me crazy, it almost feels like it will make my ears bleed when i use these oddball air fresheners (that require AC power)

I have Directv service but I'm moving, the place where I'm moving to has Dish Network pre installed and will not allow installing any other satellite dishes on the property. would I be able to keep my service with Directv by using the Dish network dishes already installed or do I have to change service?

Like IDishNetwork.com, VMC Satellite, or Expert Satellite? The prices seem better than going directly through Dish Network, but I'm a little leery. Has anyone had any experience with this?

For an amplifier CS2675:

(EIA 1Khz ; 0.1% THD) : 2 X 378 W / 8 ohmi; 2 x 675 W / 4 ohmi; 1 x 1250 W bridege / 8 ohmi
Sensibilitate intrare : 1 V RMS ( pt sarcina de 8 ohmi)
Damping factor : >300 / 8 ohmi
Raspuns in frecventa : 5Hz - 70 Khz ( -3dB)
Impedanta intrare : Balansat 20 Kohmi , Nebalansat 10 Kohmi
Conectori : Intrare : XLR si Jack 6.3 mm
Iesire : SpeakON (neutrik) , Jack 6.3 mm (recomandat numai pt 8 ohmi ) si Conectori surub

what speakers should i use and why? What is the diference between the two sets because the power is allmost bouble, SO IS THE POWER OF THE SOUND (LOUDNESS), which sound louder, which sounds better?
Tell me all i need to know please.
What do you think of the amplifier because i'm about to buy it right away.
