I have Directv service but I'm moving, the place where I'm moving to has Dish Network pre installed and will not allow installing any other satellite dishes on the property. would I be able to keep my service with Directv by using the Dish network dishes already installed or do I have to change service?

If no one else is currently using the Dish Network dish, then Directv will swap out the dish with one of theirs and align it to the Directv satellites for free, using the existing mast.

But if the place you're moving to is a like a multi unit dwelling and there are existing dish network subscribers, then you'd be out of luck until you could convince the landlord to let you add another dish.

However, there are laws in effect to permit consumers to receive satellite signals even when landlords object. Check out the source for information about the FCCs OTARD rules.

You will have to change service; the satellites are in different locations.
