i copied cds onto my computer and burned them. the originals belong to my brother and my friends. is this illegal?

I have a Pioneer 301 cd player/holder. Recently alot but not all of the discs skip and yet they play fine in the car, on the computer, in the clock player etc. Also the player will sometimes read no disc when there is a disc loaded. Does anyone know why this is? I'm not very anxious to have to take them all out and reprogram the unit LOL ....

I Downloaded a new song to my library, and played it, and it played ok, so then i pluged in my iPod and imported it. suddenly, a window popped up and said " the file \iPod_Control\iTunes\Temp File is corrupt. please run the Chkdsk utility. so i did, and tried it again, and the same thing happend. what do i do?

I used to have morpheus to get free/illegal music downloads but i gave me a crap load of virus's. does anyone know of a good
program that you can download free music without getting a bunch of virus's?

and btw. i know of limewire too. but that also gives you alot
of virus's.

I hold down the play/pause bottom for a few seconds like it says... and it appears to be turned off but ill turn it back on later on and not only does it turn back on instantly without loading but the batteries are drained. Almost as if it was never off! Any suggestions!?

i can not do anything at all. when i turned it to a song, it just froze up and now none of the buttons work. by the way it is a 2gb ipod nano. have had it since christmas.
