i can not do anything at all. when i turned it to a song, it just froze up and now none of the buttons work. by the way it is a 2gb ipod nano. have had it since christmas.

slide the hold button across and then back again.
hold down the menu button and the centre button at the same time for a few seconds.
this will then reset the ipod.

I've found that holding the center button and menu works well. Or just letting the ipod run out of power itself and then plugging it back it into your computer also works for me.

press and hold the center and menu button on your iPod until you see the apple logo on the screen. then it will go back to normal.
