Music & Music Players - October 2006

I have a bunch of songs already on my computer and they're all mp3 format. can i put those on an ipod or would I have to purchase the same songs from iTunes that i already have?

(concerning apple's iPod nano 2nd generation and windows ME)

ok i got this ipod back in june and it keeps stalling on me and then erasing whatever music i had on file in the stupid ipod.

So i was listening to my sisters ipod and it stoped. THe menu works but when I play a song it wont go past 0:00. Any ideas on why and how I can fix it ? its a new model and had full bateries when it happened

It still works on my speakers, like when i plug it in. But when i take it off the screen freezes. I cant plug it in to my computer either. Is my ipod dead?

we all know u can hook up 2 efx on to a djm 1000 but can you also hook up a akai mfc42 http://www.akaipro.com/productsMFC42.html

Well when i got my ipod i lived with my mom, i recently moved with my dad and during the move the disks that came with my ipod got lost, SoOo now i need to onstall it into my dads computer. what can i do??

I accidently plugged my brother's video ipod into my computer (we have the same kind of ipod) and when I took it out, I plugged mine in. Then, all of his stuff including his podcasts and videos were automatically on my ipod! My ipod had become my brothers ipod. I managed to find about a quarter of my itunes stuff on my library, but lost over half of everything..including songs, videos, podcasts. It seems logical that there should be a way to somehow find these things, since all I did wrong was plug his ipod into my computer.

Today in class my friend left his Ipod on his desk and left it there for a little bit and returned only to find it gone. Someone obviously stole it.. I was wondering; what is the best way to find out who took it? It was expensive and he did not deserve that to happen to him.

When i first installed my ipod, my d drive some how got uninstalled, apart from that everything was fine, now all the songs have been removed, and when i try to import songs into itunes i get an error message (50)?? i had been using it for months with no problems so i dont know whats happened, and its doing my head in!!
