My Nano accidentally wen in the washing machine and the dryer. Now it won't turn on. I still have the one-year warranty on it. If I send it to apple will they repare it?

No they will not. It is a warranty against mechanical failures, not because of stupidity on part of the owner

In a battle between electronics an washing machines, the washing machine always wins. Send it in. Do not give a reason for returning other than it won't work. All they can do is tell you that the damage was your fault and not covered by the warranty. Then on the other hand they may send you another.

Just make sure that when you tell them about it, you don't mention the washing machine...or the dryer for that matter.

They most likely will and the shipping will most likely be free.

Just send it to any apple service centre that's near your town, or to the retail shop from where you purchased your nano.

Just tell them you can't on it or just argue your way out saying that you spent so much on it and now it can't even work.

ouch! and i thought leaving lighters in my pockets then discovering them when i hear the explosion in the dryer was bad.
