Im on a budget, and i can only afford one game on the playstation 3 on the day that i buy the console (although i will have two since the 80 gb comes with one already).

What do you think should be my first PS3 game? here is what i have in mind:

I recently purchased a PSP and i have software version 3.51.....i made an ISO folder in my memory stick and put the ISO file in there, as directed on several sites....but when i try to open the Memory Stick under Game Menu, it says "There are no games"...does version 3.51 supports ISO games..? if not, do i have to upgrade it to a higher version or downgrade to a lower version?....and if i do have to upgrade/downgrade, how shall i do that...?

What is the best music settings for the PS3? What codec should I choose for the audio CD import section (mp3, AAC, or ATRAC)? And what should the bit rate be? How about the audio CD output frequency? I set that on 44.1/88.2/176.4 kHz. Any suggestions?

Okay, so I'm looking at Ps3's on ebay, and altough something tells me to get the 40gb version, I find it hard to justify getting it over the 20gb version because 1) the 20 version is cheaper on avg. by about 100 bucks, and 2) this is huge, it has PS2 compatibility. Essentially, I am trading in 20gb HDD space and Wi-Fi for 100 bucks and PS2. What do you guys think? Also, the 40gb has 65nm chips, does this make a huge difference?

if a ps3 and 360 sold at the same price i wouldve chose a ps3 over a 360 cause ps3 got the better exclusives that i want

hell yeah it is even the 40gb which they took out some features

sony is stupid for the 40gb idea tho they shoulda just took out the blue ray effect
(which i bet is making the ps3 so expensive)
THEN SOLD IT FOR $299 and just make the blue ray player an add on for 150 to 200 dollars they woulda had things going hella better DAMN THEY DONT KNO HOW TO HUSTLE!

which making people have time to save up for the blue ray add on and buy it to make it play with better resolution High definition or watever u call it

the 40gb right now only comes with av cables so its not high def

its like selling the 360 arcade but ps3 idea burns the 360 arcade idea by miles

I've looked in stores looked on shops website and all i can see is a 40gb ps3 but no 60gb ps3. I now they discountined the 60gb version in europw but they also so said that shops still got them but when does shops run out of stock they will have no more 60gb. Please can anyone tell me which shops still got the 60gb ps3. I want to get one this month. I live in england which is in the United kingdom/Europe.

I'm getting my ps3 in less than a week and i want to know for online we already have dsl and we have modems i want to know if i can put the ethernet cable ino to an extra slot with mymodem and be able to play online that way or should i already be able to scan, cause my computer is in my room and the ps3 will be a least 5 ft. away from it.

I am getting a Playstation 3 for Christmas but i can't decide if I want a 40GB or a 60GB. I have a Playstation 2 and PS2 games and if I get the 60GB PS3 then I will give my uncle the PS2 because it makes no sense to buy the 60GB PS3 thats plays PS2 games and have a PS2. i want clearer pictures on my olaystation 2 but idont have component cables for my ps2, i only have the ones that are colored plugs on both sides.....

what can i do to hook up my ps2 for clearer pictures, as if i had component cables????


ps. i have the original AV cables, and i dont want to go out and buy a component cable just for my ps2

I'm 39 I bought a ps3 for Madden and NBA live plus I'm getting a 40" flat screen for blue ray...I returned nba live really disapointed. Since i got madden on PC I wont be getting madden for ps3 until next year, but what is up with the games I was warned but geez they all stink. I dont have the patience of many of you or the skill to play many of those war games but those seem to be the ones that are the higher rated games. What is a good game or games for me to consider? Keep in mind if it is really difficult or highly technical I wont stand a chance. And I like to see the character not just the gun what is that 1st person 3rd person? And sports love the sports games but they get low reviews. Lastly if you have to refer to a cheat book to figure out how to beat win game more than once or twice with a quick check, I'm not interested. Ex. GodOWar stuck on level 2 kick/push a box without it getting busted up from fire arrows impossible it seems level fn 2!!! i suck! Games? Thx

When i was playing warhawk my system kept turning itself off, it happened about 5 times until i couldn't even turn it on anymore. When i flip the switch in the back the stand by light won't even turn on. I got it in august so I have warrenty. If I send it in how long will it take to come back?
