Well, I'm getting a PS3 (i found out my mom is getting me it for christmas, mostly because im tired of my 360) but i dont have a flatscreen, plasma, or HD TV. I have a regular old TV (it's newer just not the kinds i listed) will this have a big effect on how good the graphics are etc?

The PS3 says I can choose 720p or 1080i or 1080p.

Can 720p TVs support playing PS3 games in 1080p?

I have 2 problems.

1) There's a problem with the media server and I click my computer "Computer name" and click "Music", etc.
Then when I click to play a song, in a mp3 format.. It just displays the wavy lines, just like in the media player when you play a song with no video, but it doesn't play it.. and when I try to access the control panel by pressing "TRIANGLE".. it doesn't do anything.
What's wrong? Please help..!!!!

2) My second problem is that I downloaded Folklore Sneak Preview Demo from the Playstation Store and now Im trying to install it, but after i click "Install", it says "An error occured during the install operation (80029564)"..
How can I fix this error?

If you help me, then I would appreciate it and I will give you 10 points, I promise.

So I'm thinking about asking for a PS3 for Christmas, and I already have a PS2. Is it true that you can't play PS2 games on the 40 GB PS3 and only on the 80 GB or 60 GB one? I want to make sure I mention the right one to get.

I want a ps3 80gb which plays ps2 games so i want to sell my ps2. It is a slim one that I've had for about a year or so. It does not come with anything but the cords and maybe a multitap and some controllers.

it was fine last night.. and i got up this morning and i picked up to find OIL dripping.. it didnt smell funny.. so i thouht sum1 may hva dropped oil on it mistakenly... i cleaned it up, but as i was using it, i had more and more oil coming on my fingers! i opened the battery cover and lo and behold! it was oozing in oil! i cleaned up all of it and since then its okay.. wht happned? havent put the battery in again but i knw the PSP is working f9.
