Well, I'm getting a PS3 (i found out my mom is getting me it for christmas, mostly because im tired of my 360) but i dont have a flatscreen, plasma, or HD TV. I have a regular old TV (it's newer just not the kinds i listed) will this have a big effect on how good the graphics are etc?

Graphics are going to be amazing, but HDTVs have a bit clearer and detailed picture. Standard TVs work perfect with PS3. I use SDTV.

The graphics depend on the game, but most new games have amazing graphics regardless of the TV type. However, it is a completely different experience that you will have when you play on a large, HD tv.

I have a 56" DLP and it's amazing. The level of detail you get allows you to be, I think, more accurate (especially in war games) than those who are playing in SD.

graphics dont change its just the clarity issues..... HD gaming just gives you a clearer picture.... it'll still look great on a regular tv...
