If a 60 GB PS3 is available get it instead. This machine has PS1,2 and 3 drives in it versus emulators. You will be able to play more games without the hassle of downloading patches.

Not unless you plan to put a lot on it...The 40 GB PS3 is good as well...I still have a lot of space on my 40 GB PS3 & i have demos, games, and wallpapers on mine

Well, I already have a 60GB PS3, so I don't need another one right now, but I probably will buy another PS3 in 2 or 3 years from now.

Yes I own the 80GB PS3 and I love it.I do alot of downloading so 80GB is alot for me and I highly recommend it if you plan on having alot of game's and all.

well if I ever decided to buy a PS3 (which so far I doubt) I would definitly buy the 80GB just cuz it has the most space.
