If you have HDTV - you'll need 1.3a HDMI cable (Monstercable is the best).
If your TV has SCART connection - buy regular RCA->Scart adapter.
If your TV has only antenna adapter - there was a thing like that for PS2.

If you have a PS2, and you were able to hook your PS2 to your TV, you can take out the cable and stick it on your PS3. PS2 and PS3 cables are interchangeable.

If this is your first Playstation system, then you'll have to get the cable from Gamestop, Best Buy, or Circuit City.

You need to go to Radio Shack and buy a adapter. Just tell them you need it to go from the three plugs to a single, cable outlet.
