on the PlayStation 3 can i use its wi-fi connection and connect it straight to my wireless router???

and play online games that way?? is that broadband btw i have sbc at&t and i use the wireless router. will the online games work at that speed? [and answer the main question to PLEASE. TY]

Yes, that's the main reason of wi-fi in Ps3. Check your internet speed here:

Wi-fi router's internal speed (usually) - 54 Mbit/s

yes, this is how my friend's ps3 works and how he plays online.

speedwise I did not notice any lag.
