I followed all the instruction on sony's troubleshoot guides.
Any ideas what can be wrong? Should I send it into repair? Usually these things are very expensive...

Dear Sir,

I have bought a New DVD Camcorder (608E) of Sony. I made a Video of Birthday Party. Could you please let me know how to copy direct from this Mini DVD to my Computer or in Normal CD, without connecting my Camcorder, because I don’t want to carry my Camcorder to my Office? I am trying to copy this DVD but there are no files visible on it.

I recently purchased what was advertised as a SONY 8mm Head Cleaner V825CLD (a discontinued model). Even though it is labeled as the video head cleaner, I am not convinced that it actually cleans, and I can record and playback video on it. Since the cassette was not in shrink wrap (in theory, it could be sold from a bulk box), and I can record/play back (plus it has the record lock/unlock slider), I strongly suspect I have been sold a fake. Given what I've said, can I be 100% confident that it is a fake? If so, why?

I am hesitating to buy the Sanyo HD1000. I am worried about its video quality,if shot in the dark. Is it better than HD2 and C5.
The spec of the Hd1000 says 3 lux. what does that mean? That means good aperture? The aperture of 1.8 is sopposed to make much better video quality (in the dim light) than that of 3.5 (HD2 and C5)? The video shot by my C5 in dim light is so blurry. I will appreciate your advice

i went yesterday to the photo lab to copy the contents of the mini Dv tape onto a cd and the guy insisted on keeping the video camera with him too for 3 days(thats how long it would take to get it copied because of the rush) i asked why? He said that without the camera synchronisation would be very bad. the lips would move and the sound would come later. is this correct cause i dont want this either. HELP

Hello I am an interviewer (independent) that will regularly be recording 3 people at a time in a studio setup / and sometimes going out to stores/companies doing a review of their products with 2-3 people. And I’m looking for a professional quality camcorder that has at least 3 microphones inputs and high definition quality. What do you recommend? My coworker who will be recording wants a nice professional digital look that he can then download to his laptop and edit and then upload on my Website and Youtube. Any suggestions or has anyone a particular camcorder that has excellent quality

P.s. no smart comments, real answers only

I cannot decide between a Panasonic 10X optical zoom with better features (like night shot and 3CCD) and a Panasonic 32X optical zoom with less features. I will use it for family videos and music recitals/concerts.

OK I recently bought a “Pro” HD Camcorder it is a Canon XHA1, and I took it to this club where the music was -loud as hell- and well as expected and for what I paid for the camera I’m fascinated with the quality of the video but… the audio sounds like those cheap sound systems that you hear on those “pimped” rides on the streets, like they have a busted speaker, all distorted and you cannot even tell what the DJ was saying.

I thought that it was going to be ok since I set the microphone levels to low and it did not work, it only gave it a lower sound but the same horrible quality

What should I do?
I understand there are special kinds of microphone to use for these loud environments, …only I don’t know which is the best for me to use since I don’t know much about it.

Any tips on what kind, size, model, to use so I can get a good quality sound when recording under the same loud environment?????

Thanks
Any tips will be appreciated

Ok i asked this question earlier but i didnt make any since. So after i have my clips saved onto my computer and in a folder i go to windows movie maker and try to import them, but a notification thing pops up that says "files name could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from" soo now i cant import the clips on to Windows Movie Maker.

I was wondering if anyone could help me get my clips imported on to Windows Movie Maker and what the notification means. Like i have no idea what fireing events means??? so if u could help that would be GREAT!
