The LCD (display) of my camcorder Sony DCR-TRV27 is not functioning?

I have a camcorder DCR-TRV27 for some time already and now the LCD is not showing any thing, could anyone info who had this problem could please help me out (give some hints) on how to solve this problem.

Just send it to Sony service centre. As consumer, nothing we can do to fix it. Let professional do it
