What I mean is if a Standard Definition is fed to an HDTV, which brand will upconvert it the best? Samsung, Philips, Sony, etc.

Hey

1. Does the ps3 support youtube vids? If not, can I download them onto the ps3 hardrive and watch them?

2. Ive got a standard definition TV. I was wondering, will the graphics look that bad? I'll usually be playing it about 3-4 metres away on a 28 inch screen. And the game graphics I'm concerned about are Oblivion. Will they still look really good for that game?

I'm wanting to buy something off of www.bestpricedbrands.co.uk but I can't find anything on the website which will tell me where they are situated or any information about them at all. I have a samsung 1080p 40 in LCD Flat Panel TV in my living room, and I am very happy with it. I want to purchase another one for my bedroom, but I read a few articles saying that for a TV under 50in. you wont really see the difference between 720p and 1080p. So, I decided to save a few bucks, and go with a 720p TV for the bedroom. Can anyone recommend a good TV? I dont want to go over 40in.

With the feb 2009 problem with HD tv converter boxes I was wondering who will be manufacturing these boxes. Seems they will need billions of them. Maybe it would be a good time to buy stock in these companies that will be manufacturing these boxes. Anybody have any heads up on this?.

I am having trouble connecting my dvd player to my receiver and getting the ouput video on my tv I get audio but no video. I was able to get both with my tube tv but I have a flat panel and for some reason the setup is different.

Uncharted Drake's Fortune. I just rented COD4 last night that's not a 10 game, 9 ok maybe. Uncharted weakness is it's short though. Right? *** Creed just looks to repetitive to me and a lot of jumping and climbing for nothing.

Okay, so I've been looking to buy a new PS3 because I've been a big fan of the Playstation since the PS1 back in God knows when.

I've been thinking of buying a 60GB PS3 because I heard it has WiFi capabilities which allows you to go online (after buying an Ethernet cable of course) without having to connect to a PC. Of course there is the new 80GB PS3 as well.

So I have just two questions. Should I wait until January/Feburary of next year to buy a new PS3 and should I get the 60GB or the new 80GB console?

With and HD TV I would like to:

Play the xbox 360 on it and and just a little better picture for normal cable. I am not going to use my comuter with it.

Ok, I'll be going to the States for vacation for the first time in my life. Wii games and accessories are cheaper there in USA than here, so I want to completely equip myself. These are the things I already have:

-Wii Console
-2 Wii Remotes
-2 Nunchuks
-2 Classic Controllers
-USB Keyboard
-Wireless Internet
-100 Wii Points
-8 Rechargeable batteries for Remotes (yes, I have 4 not being used)
-8 Games:

()Zelda TP
()RedSteel
()MP3: Corruption
()WarioWare SM
()Mario Strikers Charged
()Super Paper Mario
()Excite Truck (it was a waste of money, don't buy it)

Now, from my lifetime savings, I have almost $600. Its not like I will spend everything, just have an idea. Here is a list of what I want to get there:

-Super Mario Galaxy
-2 Wii Point Cards
-1Gb SD for the Wii
-4 GC Wavebirds (wireless controllers)
-8 more rechargeable batteries (if I get the wavebirds)
-2 Wii Remotes
-2 Nunchuks
-2 Classic Controllers

So, I know its huge, but, what is missing in this list?
