I have a Hannspree JT02-37E2-000G LCD TV. Overall I'm happy with the TV but I'm struggling to get the picture quality as good as I feel it can be.
Obviously I know the deal about watching non-HD cable channels on an HD ready LCD and how the pixels will break up on the image. However, what I'm having trouble with is getting the right contrast, brightness, colour, luminosity, etc settings to make the image look good.
Generally I either get the image looking too washed out or too high contrast. That means the colours either looks dirty or far too pingy.
Has anyone got specific advice for the picture settings for this TV, or possibly general guidance on how best to set up LCD screens for best image quality.
P.S. I'm currently viewing my cable channels through a high quality SCART (that's the only output the cable box provides).
