One question that's been really bugging me recently is will the new Grand Theft Auto game GTA4 be available on the Playstation 2 platform?When i've looked on the internet, all it's said is that it'll be available on xbox 360 and PS3.

No, it couldn't cope with the size and scale of the next gen versions.
Whether they'll make another GTA game for PS2, i don't know (you'll have to ask Rockstar), but I doubt it.
They have already announced more games for PS3/360, so I assume they are concentrating on them more.

Ps3 is 35 times stronger, than PS2. So there won't be GTA IV on PS2.

they cant put it on ps2 because the disc is too small for ps2. plus dont be suprised if they start to slow down on production for ps2 games pretty soon

PS2 disks are the same as 360 disks.
