I have a 32" GE tv. it is not a flat screen or panel, just standard tube tv. i have digital cable, but i can see the pixels sometimes, mainly with dark blue colors and grays. why is this, what settings can i change to get a better picture?

my mom got us a ps2, its the slim on and it has the built in DVD player. the guy at the store said not to play DVDs in it thought becouse it will be really rough on the system and it will couse major were and tear. This doesnt make any sense becouse the game diisks are DVDs and yeah. does the guy not know what he is talking about? i dont see any problem.

I want a good camera that also has video and audio. I've narrowed it between 3 cameras that are all the same price. All three say they have video, but only the Canon powershot specifies it has video and audio. Does anyone know if all three have video and audio?

ive never quite understood that ... and in not talking a minor scratch, you couldve sworn a grizzly bear got his hands on my resident evil outbreak disk but after half an hour in the freezer it works great

is it because the cold makes the CD contract and the scratches smaller?

Can an LCD computer monitor be calibrated? I had a Spyder Pro2 and went through the whole process three times. Each time, everything turned a not so lovely shade of blue. I gave up and sold the Spyder on eBay. I have since read that you can't really calibrate an LCD monitor.

What's your experience with this?

I have a digital audio CD that I want to play. I have windows media player, but when I put the CD into the drive, it wont play. I even tried going into "my computer" to play it, and nonthing. Can anyone tell me in a detailed way, how to play it? Do I need to convert it or something?

I can't tell, I don't want to buy a wireless slave flash system without knowing whether my portable flash has the socket for the receiver, because I'm cheap and the one I plan to buy (on ebay) doesn't include a hot shoe adapter for the flash.

Also, if I was told right, I only need to hook up the receiver to one flash, and the other fires automatically? And, if my SLR digital camera is set to flash off (to turn off my built in flash) will the other flashes fire?

I have three remote controls, one each for my HDTV, my HD cable box, and my DVD player. Beginning two days ago, all of a sudden, none of the remotes works at all. I have changed batteries in all of them, with no effect. It sounds like possible something is interfering with all the remote signals. Has anyone ever experienced such a thing? Any ideas what I could try?

I'm in a band and we are looking for a somewhat affordable and easy way to record our gigs. We have a guy with a mixer and all that, but we want something easier to do at every show. Any ideas on how we could record the shows? The idea we are going for is similar to having an old school cassette player in the audience somewhere, only we want one that records as mp3's or onto cd.

Iam looking at buying the onkyo hts990thk 7.1 home theater system.and it says it is HDTV capable. But it does not have
HDMI switching nor any HDMI inputs or outputs?? I have new
LG 42 HD full 1080p tv.I also have a upconverting 1080i DVD
player.I'am pretty sure i will get great sound from this sys.but
what will i be missing in picture quality w/o HDMI in & outputs?

" do not have any more LifeDrives yet. These are becoming harder and harder to get. I wouldn't bother with the Camcorders."

These means that the supplier do not want me to bother him, or that the camcorders are broken or something like that?
