my friend n i were having this discussion yesterday n we were wondering abt this...so suppose my phone is switched off, n to open it i need to know the security code..so is it possible for an average person to read the messages n contacts in the phone if he/she is a stranger n is checking ur phone? (like someone told me it can be done by connecting the phone to the computer??? ) also if not so, then to what extent can one go to switch on the phone (without asking the owner about the code)??

I really would love to get into the hobby of photography. I just dont know what camera i should start with. I am looking for a camera that takes clean bright shots. I dont care how technologically advaced the camera is i will learn how to use it, i just want something that will last me a while b/c most digital cameras these days go out of style so fast. Also any good advice on photography editing programs i should go with would be great. Thank you

I dont know if i should get a buttkicker or a powered sub, i want the whole body shaking, lung collapsing feeling of a sub, but i dont know if a buttkicker dose that or just shakes the sh@# out of you under your chair. which one is the best sounding for home theater use? what is so good about buttkickers? thanks a lot-Mitch.

hello, i have been looking for a powered sub for my home theater system for ever now, i have a huge room so i know i need something with at least 250 RMS watts. I have been looking at these subs so far: Polk audio PSW505, infinity PS212, SVS PB12-ISD, JBL S120PII. I have no clue which one is the best, in chest pound, eat thumping, great clean bass. so which one is the best, in your opinion, pound for pound, maybe a little more for bass. also, if anyone has another suggestions, i would appreciate it. thanks so much-Mitch.

I don't want my iPod to be reverted back to factory settings. I just want the songs on my iPod to be put onto my laptop.

I want to have the same tracks on my laptop as my desktop.

Can it be done?

ok, this is what happened.
my old phone died all of a sudden (obviously had something to do with leaving it on the wet bathroom counter near the sink)
it was brought to the phone shop place
So I got a new temporary phone. It was obviously a used phone, cause the voice mail message thing said "hey you've reached rob, leave a message, something something". But there was a telemarketer on it.... it seems like they just call the same number over and over, right? doubt it, cause my same phone number was programed on it, and the telemarketer must've logged the phone IP address (if there's such thing) or something else, cause the idiots should of just called the same number, instead of keeping track of phone number changes and crap like nerds.
so when I got a new phone, they were still calling my phone number!!!
Should I keep yelling out insults and "Stop calling me!" when they call, or does ignoring them completely make them shut up after a while?

So, I recently purchased a Minolta XG7 with a 135mm lens. the only problem is, I think I need a 50 mm lense also. I mean the 135mm lens is great and everything, but I don't think it's practical. I only bought it because it was super cheap and in good condition.
Does anyone know what kind of 50mm to get and where I could get one?

I picked up a 16:9 720p/1080i front end home theater dlp projector. I am hooking it up to a nintendo Wii (RGB component 480p), an upscaling dvd player and a home theater PC.

The projector has a composite, s-video, RGB component video, vga and hdmi input. With only one input for hdmi I need to choose whether to use that for the dvd player or the home theater PC.

VGA allows twice the bandwidth of component but is still analog. If I hook up the dvd player to the hdmi and keet the htpc, will I see that much of loss on the PC? I need to pick a hdmi to dvi converter to hook up the PC. Hate to waste the money for one if I won't notice any real distance

I take pictures during day, night, all weather types. And of lots of moving activities, sports, karate, children running and playing. I need something that can take a beautiful snap shot of scenery as I am in a vehicle going 60 mph without being blurry.

I need something that regardless of what I am doing, if I turn to take a quick pic it will be identical to what i am taking a picture of.

Something to say WOW about, but nothing ENTIRELY TOO COMPLICATED that only a professional photographer would be able to operate.

I am not interested in something that requires me to change lenses or light bulbs or that weighs a ton.

something under $400
