Get your antenna UP as HIGH as you can get it.....

Then buy a 20db RF amplifier at Radio Shack and connect it between your antenna and your TV set....

That should get you your channels, or MOST of them.....

I suggest that you start by collecting some information:

1. Enter your address at the first two web sites listed below. This will give you some idea of what channels you might receive and what direction their transmitter is located.

It would help if you added a comment with your zip code and what kind of antennas you tried, otherwise the answers you get will be very general since you cold be located anywhere in the English speaking world)

2. Ask neighbors what kind of antennas they use.

3. Recognize that TV signals cannot travel through metal objects, This includes aluminum siding, metal foil backed insulation, and wire mesh. Are there such things between your antenna and the TV transmitting antennas, you will have to move your antenna.

4. Experiment. Indoor antennas can be extremely finicky, try moving it around. In dry weather, you could move it outside or hold it out the window in the direction of the transmitting antennas.

5. Some people have had luck building there own UHF (US analog channels 14-69) antennas, see the last couple of links below.

If your getting pure snow then boosting it wont be enough. You will need a bigger antenna.

If you have an attic, you can buy a big antenna and hook it up and stick it in there if you dont wanna get someone to profesh install it, and run a cable from the attic to the tv.

not likely, might as well spend the $35 bucks or so and place it in the attic.
