recently bought a record deck.At present have a surround sound system which I can use as CD / DVD player and use the amp / speakers thats with it. Now someone said I would need a 'pre amp' to put my record deck through this system........not very technical. & dont want to go any buy the wrong thing or something I dont really need......any one know what I need & how to wire it up?

I am a senior in college and facebook has gotten really popular.

Everyone has hundreds of cool pictures and I have 9.

So I have decided it is time to buy a digital camera.

I am a student so I am semi-impoverished.

It needs to be cheap.

It needs to work at night.

It absolutely must work with mac. I do not have access to PC.

What should I buy? Where?

Everybody knows if you stare at the sun you'll go blind. Can the same thing happen to a digital camera or camcorder? Is it safe (for the camera) to take a picture of the sun or an eclipse or not?

...freak when they find out i play drums and also the guy right opposite plays too? at the moment i have an electronic kit that takes headphones but you can still hear the thud of the kick pad, cymbals etc and i do like whacking them through the speakers sometimes and later i want an acoustic kit...

Will they hate me, should i work out a schedule with them? or just say nowt?

im a newbie in DSLRs i have a nikon D40 and i wana buy a 55-200mm lens just wondering what is the difference between the two.. does sigma function same as nikon lens coz i have a budget limit and prefered sigma bec of the price.. is it as good as nikon?

videos wont go onto my psp.
im putting them in the MP_ROOT>100MNV01 folder. and im renaming them as M4Vxxxxx [with x being numbers]
the format: 'MPEG-4 Movie'

but yet it says unsupported data, when i have other videos in 'MPEG-4 Movie' format.


What am i missing?

I am trying to build a hand held wireless television. I want to transmit the stream over radio Frequency at about 900MHz. Can you suggest some good IC/interface at both the transmitter and receiver end? I am looking to work with the NTSC format.

My TV's acting up. But I'd heard that "normal" TV stations will stop broadcasting soon (when?). Will converters be available? Should I buy a new regular TV, try to repair the old one long enough for digital TV prices to drop, or cough up the money now for an overpriced HDTV? (I don't use TV enough to justify cable or satellite).

I have Sprint, If I call someone on the Sprint network would the minutes be free?

I know that Sprint has a 'mobile to mobile' plan for $5.. but if I don't PAY for the plan, but the person who i'm calling DOES.. would the minutes be free? or would they still count since I don't have the service, and the person I am does?

Ok, I am renting an appartment right now and everytime I watch TV it goes from coming in Crystal clear to static and cuts out the sound. What is going on!? It's come to the point where i just shut it off and stare at the wall to save my sanity. Oh, and it's probably not the TV, but the server. It's just using the antenna, no cable or satalite. I'm guessing it's that because I have 2 tv's in the appartment, and they both do the same thing. Any suggestions?

I just got my new ipod nano it is the brand new one tht came out last Friday....i tried to set it up on itunes which i just downloaded the newest edition last weekend....and it asked for my Apple ID and password i entered it and hit continue and it told me that my "person record needed harvesting" what does that mean?

I plug my iPod nano into the computer, and it just doesn't detect it!

Well, on the iPod it says its charging, but there is no acknowledgement on the computer that the iPod is there.

ITunes doesn't show the picture of my iPod there, and the computer doesn't provide the "Safely Remove Hardware" option, which I guess means the computer won't detect the iPod.

Is there any way to fix this problem without taking it into the store?
