My girlfriend says if she calls my house that when i answer it wont cost ME any money.... i dont beleive her

Wow. Sounds like a generation raised on cell phones. I feel old.

Your basic land line house phone is paid for by the month with unlimited incoming calls and outgoing local calls. So, it cost money to have the phone and phone number, but it doesn't cost extra receiving a call.

If you are on your cell phone? yes. It will cost long distance to both people, but if it is one house phone to another, the person that is calling long distance will recieve that bill.

in my country the phone bill is like 20cents for 5hours talkin lol even if i call someone its the same as not losing any money.Ur girl is true about that
