I just got my new ipod nano it is the brand new one tht came out last Friday....i tried to set it up on itunes which i just downloaded the newest edition last weekend....and it asked for my Apple ID and password i entered it and hit continue and it told me that my "person record needed harvesting" what does that mean?

That message just means that they don't have enough information & that your account needs to be updated at apple.com. Once you update your account you'll be able to sync your new Nano. Have fun!

Answer: The apple.com account information was incomplete and Apple needed a little bit more data. It would be better if the message was more informational like: "Please visit Apple.com and update your account," instead of a message about harvesting, which was not very intutive.

By the way, to fix the issue you should visit: myinfo.apple.com and fill at least one of your details, eg, date of birth.
