The channels and program info arent showing. we just got it recently installed and its been more than 5 hours and the info hasnt been downloaded yet. anybody know what to do?

If you have a cable box that came with your install, you have to put your TV on ch.3 and do your ch. selection from the box. The remote that works the box needs to be programed for your TV (VCR and DVD if you have them too) and the "guide" button on the remote will give all the program info you need. You should also have received a "quick look" card from TW that lists all the services they offer as well as a list of all the channels available.
The cable installers should have programed the cable modem before they left, so you should have no need to mess with it. If it is not set up or set up right, call TW no-service (takes forever till some one answers the phone) and get a techie back out there to finish the job.
