My camera is a Casio Exilim, EX-S770. Pls help me.

I dont know what a 'wide angle button' is.

The camera's user manual should explain how to get rid of them -probably by pressing the "DISP" button repeatedly until you get the visualization you want.

They're a compositional aid, to follow the rule of thirds. Other visualizations probably show shooting info (shutter, aperture, ISO...), battery power, memory space available, or live histogram.

try pressing the wide angle button. this should reduce the #. continue pressing it until it goes down to one.
if you want to increase the # of squares, i think you hit the telephoto button, so this sounds really logical to me.

Read and study your Owner's Manual. Then read and study it again. It wasn't packaged with your camera as filler, it was included so you can learn to use the camera.

Landaree is right about their use - to help you learn the "Rule of Thirds".

You are probably on one of the best shot modes, so go to the "BS" button and pick the category you want to shoot with, like "portrait." Then it will go away.
