ive never quite understood that ... and in not talking a minor scratch, you couldve sworn a grizzly bear got his hands on my resident evil outbreak disk but after half an hour in the freezer it works great

is it because the cold makes the CD contract and the scratches smaller?

I am sitting here going "Wow!Thanks for the info! Now I don't have to keep replacing the ones the kids at school manage to destroy!!!

My best guess would be some sort of molecular change.

Am going to make that my Ramadan Question for my students. I like to give them something to mull over while the coffee shops are shut for the month!( During the day )
