I know that sound is recorded on records, tapes and cd's, but how is it that sound can be placed on these three different devices?

Ok, So I'm a dumb blonde. Thinking about getting the Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens for my Nikon D40.

First question is, I don't know what mm's are so someone tell me in feet distance please

Second question is, will the D40 be able to focus in on moving objects with that far of a zoom lens? or will all my pictures be blurry?

The flash almost always overexposes everything. How do I fix that? I'm not standing too close to the subject when I try to use it.

What flash setting can I use for taking a picture at night?

What add on lens do you recommend for this camera that will provide a really good zoom?

Is there anyway to take pictures rapidly without all of them being blurry because the camera takes so long to focus a shot?

Why are the multi-shot (rapid shots) not showing up on my camera card when I put it in my camera, and why does it show a clipboard on the camera screen when I try using that feature?

ok so i have shot 2 rolls w/ my new mamiya 645e...and realied i put the film in the wrong way....i put it in over instead of under......at the end it says "exposed" but its inside out...........so will my film still develop ok??? thank you!

hi, if i remove the speaker cable from my amp and connect another cable, will it affect the sound. will i need to burnin the speaker cable again, once i remove it and put it back again.

Please note that I'd like to have the option of listening to sound directly from the TV and/or surround sound, so I don't want to limit that.

Also, on a similar front, is an orange digital connection from my DVD player to the same receiver better than RCAs?

im twleve turni thirteen in november. i like to talk to alot of boys and i just wanna talk im tiredof usin the house phone because my mom uses the phone all the time. and when im out somewhere i ask some people if i can use their phone and u noe what the answers are :i only have 2 minutes left, my mom told me not to let no on see it, my minutes aint free, why cant u use hers. and i really hate that.so should i have my own phone

gosh! this is so awful... someone else has the exact same phone number as me!!!

i found out few days ago that someone else had the same phone number as me...
since last month, whenever my family members called me on my cell, this other lady kept picking up the phone... so i thought the call was intercepted somehow... and some random people have been calling me, asking for some stranger with the same phone number as me
thinking how weird this was, i thought it was just a coincidence,but this lady called me a week ago asking if i got calls from strangers
something was weird & i asked her for her cell phone number... and surprisingly.. we found out we had the EXACT same number SAME AREA CODE SAME 7 DIGITS! I use VERIZON and she said her phone was a prepaid phone. she had the number for 3 years me having it for 2 years... so i told her that i will go back to the store where i got the phone and try to solve the problem
but the people at the store where i got my phone are really mean

i want to get a projector but i can only put it 6-7 feet away from the wall. how big would the screen projection be: width*height if possible.

also if i do get it and i get a ceiling mount will i be able to point the picture down so it doesnt have to be in the middle of the room?

Okay, so we have the phone, TV and cable all in one deal, from our cable provider, but there is static on the phone. Sometimes it is so bad you cannot hear the other person. So we called the cable guy. He said it was an old line we no longer use, and disconnected it, but there is still static, especially after it rains. What is the problem? Our cable guy cannot find it.

i got about 4 non digital tv's that are currently less than 2 yrs old. and i am wondering what i am going to do with them since i can not get a straight answer from my cable company about what is going to happen to my billing and what not. only reason i really have cable is for my internet i just have the limited basic right now whish is under $14 the rest of my bill is for my internet. i am not interested in leasing 3-4 set top boxs just to watch tv. not to mention to even make digital worthwhile it does mean a newer digital ready tv. then what happens to all the non-digital tvs that still work excellent? are we just supposed to send them to a landfill to create a much worse environmental problem.

I have an aspiration: I love to write novels. Any story idea that would pop in my head, I would write it down immediately. then I would store it for later. I need a PDA to allow me to write a novel on the go and store it in a memory card with the highest storage capacity. High resolution camera and e-mail are definite pluses. The problem is I don't know what current models of PDAs would have all the requirement stated before and which one is the best in the market. I would need all the specifications on that PDA so that I would buy or order it immediately. Does anyone know what exactly I'm talking about ? Please, I'm literally on my knees.
