On Feb. 17, 2009, analog TV's will be rendered useless. Owners of this type of TV will have to use a converter box to pick up cable television.

Do you think this is really an "advancement" of cable, or a ploy by cable companies to make yet MORE money off of their subscribers?

but the thing is, when i play "Dualshock" compatible games, the controllers don't shake, but the red light is on on the controller .

OK - got bought a Wii for christmas when I was visiting my folks in England. I am now living in Taiwan. Finally found a TV that'll accept a PAL signal and get new games sent from home. Now, what will happen when I try to connect up to the internet? Will I connect to the PAL region VC or the local one. Will it work at all? i want to replace my camera which i gues is a peice of crap (DXG-538)no i dont guess i know its a peice of crap any way i want to find a good camera that easily portable to events like plays but still is a good quality camera i want one that has zoom can take videos and pictures mostly of moving things i want it to not have a long shudder delay must be able to hold a memory card if needed in other words if it doesnt hold at least 40 pictures its self i dont care if its a bit bulky as long as it takes a good picture hopefully i can get it from a common store i hope wal mart its the closest one for like 1 1/2 hours away it needs little to none shudder delay and shortest distance between the time it takes from one picture to another it cant break the budget about 150 dollarsmaybe a little more if its a good enough camera to spend the money on

i have a dxg 538 camara i cant take pictures in the day time only at night or else the picture will turn white and and you cant see anything in it but you can take a video with it there is no place to contact them from the web site does any body know what might cause this and maybe how to fix it do you know if all the cameras of this type are like this or if its maybe just mine since i dont know anybody else with one of these cameras i wouldnt be able to campare them

I have a Sony DVD Player model DVP-NS725P. It was a pretty expensive player and I thought it would last me years. Well, a couple of months ago, I put in a DVD and it seemed like it was reading it, but the whole DVD player just shut off. I got so frustrated with it after trying to clean it and such that I just gave up and bought a new cheap DVD player. Now I'm just trying to figure out what's wrong with it, to see if maybe I could fix it, since I just don't wanna throw an expensive DVD player out. Does anyone have any idea of any possible solutions for me? I've had it unplugged for months now, so it can't be the power.

We got a new SONY HDMI flatscreen TV. On our old TV, I could just hook up the 3 red/white/yellow cords from TV to VCR and it worked fine. But on this new TV, I tried doing that but the picture won't show. Do I have to get an S-video cord?
