I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras and learn as much as they can from the internet.
Go to the store and hold them and try them to see what they feel like and how they take pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.
Good Luck

my suggestion
go to yahoo shopping

digital camera GUIDE
be sure to check titles on the left side
the guide should answer your questions

I actual have the Kodak P850. Its a 5 megapixel with a 12 op zoom. Its seen a bridge digital camera. A bridge between the popular digital camera and the extreme end digital SLR. The 850 has some valuable properties that show you how to employ it like an SLR. i admire mine! I actual are transforming into a 20x30 print from the digital camera this is super! The scene modes are astounding! i will edit and not see pixels. On a recent holiday to the Cincinnati zoo I have been given astounding photos,,,,,,additionally to the Khron Conservatory,,,,,,,,,,I have been given butterfly photos! the colours are bright, sparkling and that i had no issues of the digital camera doing what my SLR does! i will additionally provide the Kodak internet site a thuimbs up,,they help and supply information on a popular foundation for the reason that I registered my digital camera there. JD Powers and co-workers gave Kodak an award for his or her cameras! i think of this one on rollbaack at Wal-Mart for 298.00 is a sturdy purchase!

As per ur requirement, better u go for a Video camera which can also take good quality still pics stored in a memory card.

almost all brands have this kind of models.. SONY is most popular.

Any video camera as per your required features also, having provision for memory stick slot costs more than ur budget 150 dolars.

I have had the PENTAX Optio W10 (a slighty older version) for a few years now and I absolutely LOVE it!
