recently i bought a surround system which is Altec Lansing vs3251, it comes with 5 speaker and one sub woofer, i tried to connect it with my laptop with the help of 5.1 externeal sound card, it is use external sound car
i put all the wiring, checked it all twice but the problem is only two speakrs are working and subwoofer, the centre one and rear speakers arent working, the wiring is correct, install the driver for sound card as well
but i cant fix it
any one help me please

these things were made for use in the u.s., and i'm going to austria, czech, and hungary

it says on the charger:
"input: 110V-240V" so... does that mean it'll survive?

I may be moving to Austrailia and just renewed my contract with cingular and will not swich carriers for two years. So anyway will AT&T/Cingular work in Austrailia? I will be moving to Sidney or the Sidney area in three to six months.

Should I get a Creative Labs Zen Stone 1GB MP3 Player (ZST1GBBK),which costs 34.99, or a Sony Walkman 1GB MP3 Player (NWE003SILVER), WHICH COSTS 59.99? I looked at the reviews for both and it seems that the Sony Walkman has alot higher ratings. Which one can I synchronize or download music right from Windows Media Player 10? Because if they both do that then I'll get the Sony, but I have to get the one that can get music right from Windows Media Player 10. so i took it out... let me dry for a minute... put the battery back on, tried to turn it on and it vibrated but won't turn on ... if i let it dry for the rest of te day is there sill hope? or did i f it up by turning it on already?

Well...you see all the buttons work on it but the motion sensor can't find my remote. And yeah I've tried moving in areas where it can find it. I've also tried re-synching the Wii and Remote but the same problem persists.

What should I do? And how much will the Wii company charge me to get repairs.

When I use other Wii Remotes it works fine.

i have sky in the lounge and my 2 children have freeview boxes in their rooms, i have had my aerial upgraded ready for when they swith tvs to digital . when they do will the digital signal be better then it is now because when we have a storm and in my part of the uk ( cambridge) we have had heavy thunder storms and rain every afternoon now for a couple of weeks and the signal freezes on everything ( sky and freeview) however the analogue signal is perfect. i understand why they want to change to digital but is this going to be improved when they do change.

I'm thinking about getting a new digital slr, either the Canon XTi or Nikon D40. What I'm curious about is whether or not you can just take digital photos with them, or if I need to always shoot film too. I want the ability to shoot film, but I dont want to always have to use it.
