i would say t-mobile but you will have to look for a company owned store but not someone that has everything

T-Mobile, but the deposits are non-refundable and the service sucks if you're not in a big city. I'd recommend Verizon which has a great coverage, no roaming and a $400 per line cap (so you wont get a $1000 deposit) and after a year you get the money back with 2 or 3 percent interest to boot. It is much better to do this than screw yourself for one to two years with a company that sucks. I've done credit checks with Verizon for people who thought they had horrible credit and the deposit was as little as $125.

OK I used to manage a cell phone company so I've seen all types of credit get cell phones.

Cingular - before it was AT&T would normally have a deposit no higher than 500 but mostly 250 is what I saw.
Alltel can do anything between 0-1000 but mostly 100.00
Verizon is mostly 1000 with bad.
Sprint was always 250 or 500 if you had a charge off with them.

I have alltel and their service is going down the drain but it's the only thing that works in my neck of the woods.

Hello Leslie:

I don’t think that anyone here knows what your credit score is like and how that will affect a possible deposit. You basically have to try the different carriers to see what they say regarding a deposit. If you go to a store, go to a wireless carrier’s company owned store and not an authorized agent because they tend to screw things up.

Be sure to ask that you do not want to sign up for the service until you know if a deposit is required.

No and Verizon usually charges $1000 for a deposit so expect to pay close to that with any provider

I am with sprint as well just in view that the vast majority of the people I talk to have dash and when you consider that the organization I work for gets fundamental reductions when with sprint. Or else I had t-mobile for five years and in no way had a single grievance. I will definately be going back to them when my sprint contract is completed.
