Stick the cd in your computer, then open u iTunes. There should be a box that pops up asking you what you'd like to do, select import cd. Then it'll list the songs on the cd, uncheck the song you don't want on there, then iTunes will handle the rest. After that you'll understand it.

First you must install ITunes. Once you plug in your Ipod to your computer, it should ask you to install, or you could go to ITunes.com. Once you have it installed, insert your cd into yor computer. There should be a pop-up window asking if you'd like to import songs from CD into library, so click yes. Or, if the window doesn't appear, click on the CD name in the left window of ITunes. There's a button on the bottom right for importing songs. Once the songs are imported, you go to your library(with your Ipod plugged in) and drag the songs to the left where your Ipod is.

This what you do. You insert the CD. Options will come up just click on the one that says "rip music from CD" Then it starts to rip it. After the CD is ripped the music is stored.in "my music" one has to go to "my documents" then "my music" it should be in this folder "Unknown Artist". After the music from the CD is ripped. If you do not have itunes download it (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) Make sure you have music in iTunes. To do so, find the music you want copied to your iPod and click and drag it into the iTunes Library, or go to File-add file to library, and select the songs.
Plug your iPod in. iTunes should automatically recognize your iPod and depending on whether or not you have the "Automatically update songs" option on, your iPod will start receiving the songs from iTunes. If that feature is off, go to File-Update Your iPod, and the songs will be downloaded into the iPod. (Note: If you would like to turn this setting on or off, when the iPod is connected, go to Edit-Preferences, then click on the iPod tab, and check or uncheck the option. Hope this helps you. You would have to download the iTunes software. From there, they give you instructions on how to transfer music from your CD to your Nano.

Google iTunes, click on the link and download the free software.
