I installed a muvee maker on my pc to make movie of my grandson!My pc won't recognise my camcorder, Sharp no longer make camcorders.I've tried using USB leads without success,my camcorder has a DV connection but surely i will need more than just a DV lead. Can anybody advise Please?

for example, if one were trying to take a raw 1080i or 720p file of 15 gb and wanted to fit it onto a DVD or, worse a CD, would it better to compress the original resolution (eg, 1280x720) agressively, or to resize it to 720x480 but use a less agressive compression?

Which of the two takes better-quality pictures, especially in not-so-ideal conditions such as low light?

Or, is there another digital camera (non-SLR, please) that takes even better quality pictures than those two cameras?

I broke my last phone, and via insurance, I received my new phone today from Cingular. I charged it up, and turned it on, but it says "unregistered sim" and it wont allow me to do anything. Any ideas how to make it work? I would call Cingular, but you guessed it, I don't have a phone.

Hi, I recently purchased an LG chocolate phone with verizon. I put in a 1 Gb memory card and bought the kit to transfer music on to your phone. I read somewhere about putting movies on it. I am currently converting a movie to 3gp which is the format in which the post said the movie must be in I was curious if i can put it so it is in widescreen on the phone you know so i watch it as the phone is on its side so the screen is larger and less distorted any input on the subject is welcome

Everytime I plug my camcorder into the PC, it says I need Macromedia Flash Player downloaded in order to import footage. Well, I've downloaded Macromedia Flash 8 and when I plug the camcorder in, it still says I need Macromedia Flash Player. It's like it's not reading it. What do I need to do?
