I was given my Nokia 7260 in Indonesia and used it there with no probs as well as in S. America too. But now want to use it in the US and Canada and apparently it's locked and I've been told i need to contact the store where it was purchased from to get the code to unlock it from (but I can't since it was a gift from someone whom I've lost contact with). Not to mention that it uses as sim card - what companies use sim cards in N. America? What can I do? I love this phone and want to use it - ANYONE?!?!??!?!??!? HELP ME PLEASE!

The default level after auto calibration in the receiver is too quiet for me, so I turn up the volume on the sub instead of increasing the level in the receiver. Is there a downside to this? I was thinking that maybe the sub ends up working harder than it needs to by doing this?

My TomTom is brand new, and when connected through PC, it can find 10 satellites without a problem with a good signal strength, but as soon as the USB is disconnected from the PC, whether I go inside the house or outside (everywhere), it cannot seem to find any satellites and it says poor signal. I have tried re-setting it numerous times but still get no signal, is this a faulty TomTom.

I remember a friend of mine getting one years back. The clarity was really nice but the price kept it from catching on.

I have HDTV on my cable and I really don't see much of a difference between that and my dvds. plus between the price of the drive, expense of the movies and limited selection will make this a standard that really isn't going to catch on.

While Blue Ray is much better for storage than HD DVD, I think the name recognition oh HD menaing high definition will win out for most non technical folks.
