As others have already said, an ipod is an MP3 player. But it's hands down better than all the other ones on the market in my opinion. It has better quality, better service, and if you download itunes with it, then it constantly recieves updates that apple comes out with. It's worth the extra money.

I've have both and I prefer my iPod nano much more. The screen is better, you can use itunes, it holds a lot of songs, and you can charge the longlasting battery. But then again it could be because I'm comparing it to a generic $30 mp3 player lol. iPods are pricey but well worth the $ in my opinion.

An iPod is actually an MP3 player. It is just more well known than others. If you don't know much about computers, I would go with an iPod. Another great brand is Creative, you can check them out here.

they re the same thing but i prefer ipod really much more quality than a mp3.
