is it aganst the law to video tape tv series and put it on zune?

i have found a way to put tv series on my zune but i dont want to do it if it is illegal so i havent put it on my zune yet i have this camra that video tapes and so i tape the tv show and i only have 5min each so i do little by little so is that aganst the law plz tell me

yes, it is illegal because tv series come out on dvds later after the season is over to make money. at the end of the show, the credits show that it is copyrighted therefore prohibiting the use of sharing the tv series.

if at the beginning of the show says that you cant then it is illegal and if it doesnt, then it isnt
