On an 8 inch screen it should be reasonable to expect 100% pixels. If it's less than 6 months old it has an inherent defect and seller should repair/replace with no questions. Over 6 month you have to show it's broken.

Sometimes LCD manufacturers allow up to a certain number of dead pixels before they regard it as not good enough for sale, but you may be able to claim under warranty.

not to sure but sony wont do nothing until 5 have gone, it says so in manual
