I got Jigglypuff and Caption Falcon but I'm stuck. I beat the boss but I don't get any of the other characters, why? What do I need to do to get the characters?

I just bought a new Toshiba TV with a DVD home theatre system. The tv/cable works fine, but I can't get the dvd player to play on it. Does anyone know how many plugs there should be connecting the two? I have 3 (red yellow white). I'm curious about an "s video" plug, which i don't seem to have, is that for extra things, or is that necessary? If anyone could lay out the procedure for testing if the dvd player works, that'd be great. E.g. "turn on dvd player" go to "input on tv" change input to "video 1?" It's most unfortunate that the instructions are not enough :( Oh and the dvd player does work, since the sound was working on its own speakers, but couldn't get sound/picture on the tv!

what is the difference between memory stick duo pro and memory stick micro?
could i use the memory stick duo pro in the memory stick micro?

I'm going to buy a Canon Rebel DSLR as soon as I can afford one and had a question.

When looking at lenses (specifically telephoto lenses), it has marks in MM I believe. like 35mm-60mm or something.

When looking at telefoto lenses, all I really want to know is what is that in relation to X in optical zoom.

IE: if it says something like 35mm-60mm does it equate to 50x optical zoom?

Anyone know how to compare the two to get an estimate on the X?

when someone rings my phone, it only rings four times before it goes into voicemail (i.e. it goes ring-ring, ring-ring, ring-ring, ring-ring...voicemail). is there a way i can extend the ringing duration to give me more of a chance to get to the phone and answer it? (i am talking about a mobile phone here, but it would also be helpful to find out how to change the landline as well). thanks!

I have all the cables needed but i cant seem to get the wiring configuration right. I need a set by step guide. Do i wire the cable box to the recorder then to the tv. Please help If anyone knows of a web site that gives a good guide let me know.

I have the old version of the ps2, the big one. I bought it a couple years ago. Everytime i put a game in it makes these wierd loud ticking noises and it doesnt seem to read the disk. I leave it for a while and then it says it has read the disk, when i click on the disk to play it starts loading then goes back to sayin cannot read disk.
I didnt do anything to the ps2, its been sitting in the same spot since the day i bought it.
