Buy an AV receiver and you will not need to worry about wiring. You connect all your video devices to the AV receiver, then you just have one or two video cables to your TV.

From low to high quality:

Composite (yellow)
S-video (4-pin)
Component (red, green, blue)
VGA
DVI
HDMI

If you can, connect the best quality cables to your AV receiver. As for your Comcast Box, you probably want to connect an HDMI cable directly to your TV to carry the video and optical cable to your receiver for audio. Most AV receivers don't have HDMI. All your DVD players should connect via component.

verify how your cables are set up. in case you have your coaxial cable related on on your television, there's no longer lots to do. connect the DVD participant on your television using the perfect cable. Examples contain A/V, S-video and HDMI. be certain you plug the cable into the "video out" connection on your DVD participant and the "video in" connection on your television. verify the back of your television for A/V-in connections. in case you have 2 gadgets of connections, you ought to use one on your cable container and the different on your DVD participant. if it somewhat is the case, stick to the instructions in Step a million to connect your DVD participant. Get one greater coaxial cable in case you have a cable container and in basic terms have one set of A/V in connections on your television. Unplug the cable out of your television and plug it into the "television in" connection on the DVD participant. Get the better coaxial cable and connect it to the "television out" connection on your DVD participant, then connect the different end on your television. as quickly because it somewhat is complete, you will desire the cable from the wall going into your cable container, yet another cable going out of your cable container on your DVD participant and an extremely final cable going out of your DVD participant on your television. when you end Step 3, use the right A/V cables to connect your DVD participant on your television as special in Step a million. you ought to connect the cables to the "out" connection on your DVD participant and the "in" connection on your television.
